Madhavi came back to us after a few years. She'd started planning a short trip to Germany herself, then her corporate workload caught up with her and she handed it over to us.
Six days, her and her husband Satish, and one clear specific: he loves cars. We built the trip around that. They started in Munich, picked up a BMW and drove south to Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the alps, then north to Würzburg, then on to Frankfurt.
Eibsee in the rain. Zugspitze on a clear day. A stop in Stuttgart for the Mercedes-Benz museum, because if you're driving a German car through Germany it would be wrong not to. And in between, a village called Oberammergau: Madhavi said it felt like she'd walked into a fairytale.
